so yeah, I"m TOTALLY writing my class research paper @ work today/tomorrow. LOL 8 pages describing how a particular technology benefits me and society, must include at least 2 illustrations and have at least 10 sources/articles cited. This is gonna be WAY easier than I originally thought! 8 pages, double spaced, 1.5" margins, 10pt font.

Don't waste your time w/ an associates in engineering bro. Take it from personal experience. Go gen studies and transfer to ODU or UVa.

well see they have some program goign with UVA and VT. like I have no idea how the shit works. I want the most I can get in ME, don't matter how many years it takes. ill be talking with them tomarrow about what I want. But you are saying take gen studies then goto a real school for ME? I don't knwo how the whole process works. Edit: so these are the only ones worth a shit?? http://www.gradschools.com/ListingFunctions/SearchResults.aspx?SubjectId=249&Country=USA&State=VA&ProgramType=0And I don't have to get an associates before masters?

No, if you are going the Uva transfer program that they now offer at CVCC then you're good. What I was saying not to do, which is what I did, is get an associates in engineering at CVCC and then transfer out. I did that and had to retake some classes at ODU that I had already passed at CVCC.

Sooooo how many hours have I spent on calc this week? Including tonight probably about 11hrs since monday (not counting the time I studied while at work).
3 weeks left, I hope I squeek by in calc. Physics has been / is cake so I'm not too worried about it. Calc on the other hand is giving me hell.

Like I told ya man, if you need help I can tutor some. Calc was one of my stronger subjects.
Speaking of school, my work is about to send me out of town either the 1st or 2nd week of Dec....right when my research paper AND my final are due....this should be interesting.

Insomnia ftmfl. I haven't slept for shit all week.
Got most of my calc hw figured out. It's crunch time though. I really have to do good on the last test and final in calculus. Only one test left in physics and I'm not too worried about it; should skate out of there with an A.

Yeah thats what I'm talking about, talked with one of the engineer people today, as long as I keep a 3.5gpa then it's 100% admission into vt or uva, or I can stay in lynchburg and go thru UVA in lynchburg, weird. id rather go to the real school for all the good stuff they have. Sounds like the hardest part for me is gonna be the math, even though that was my best subject, I just don't remember shit anymore. oh well we'll see in jan. I'm still confused on which type of engineering I want to do, I thought mechanical engineering included design engineering? but friend at areva says it isnt?
